Family Care Compass started with a simple, familiar problem: important family information — emergency contacts, medications, insurance details, legal documents, who's responsible for what — tends to live scattered across phones, folders, emails, and memory. It's rarely missing entirely. It's just hard to find in the moment it's actually needed.
We built the Family Emergency Readiness Guide around that problem specifically. Not as a generic checklist, but as a structured system: a place to record what you already know, mark what's still missing, and work through what matters most first — one section at a time, without the pressure of needing to finish everything today.
What we believe
Preparedness shouldn't feel like homework, and it shouldn't rely on fear to get your attention. The goal isn't to imagine worst cases — it's to know, calmly and clearly, what your family has and what still needs attention.
What we don't do
Family Care Compass is an organizational tool. It doesn't provide legal, medical, insurance, tax, or financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for the professionals who are qualified to give it. Where a decision needs a professional's judgment, the guide is built to point you toward the right question to ask — not to answer it for you.
Where we're headed
The Family Emergency Readiness Guide is our current flagship product. Family Care Compass is intended to grow into a broader family-preparedness system over time, built on the same principles: calm, organized, practical, and honest about what it is and isn't.
